    The firm specialises in Private client matters comprising Will drafting, Trusts, Powers of Attorney (LPA’s), Probate and Estate Administration, Court of Protection, Elderly Client Law and advice, Contentious Probate and Chancery Court Proceedings.

    • Our team of specialist Private Client Lawyers use their expertise to draft your will to ensure that your estate passes to people you choose and without complication.
    • We can prepare Trust documentation to set up or help with ongoing trust administration and dealings with HMRC.
    • There are two types of LPA. A financial decisions LPA and a Health and Care decisions LPA. We can draft the necessary documentation to complete the LPA safeguarding your best interests and ensure that it is properly registered at HMRC.
    • We can simplify the Administration of estates by either just obtaining a Grant of representation or administering and finalising the estate on your behalf.
    • We have the expertise to apply to the Court of Protection for a Deputy to make decisions in relation to your Property and Financial affairs as well as Health and Welfare. The COP is part of the High Court of England and Wales and oversees the making of decisions on Financial and personal welfare for individuals who are unable to make them at the time they need to.
    • Our solicitors comprise members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners who can advise regarding care costs, NHS continuing health care funding, care home contracts and welfare benefits for the elderly.
    • We handle will disputes and contentious probate matters including claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, challenging the validity of a will, bringing and defending claims against the estate, claims for professional negligence and actions to remove an Executor and Trustee
